Teahouses
There are teahouses along the hiking paths and in the villages of the Solukhumbu region.
They provide a place to stay and eat.
After a day of trekking, dinner is ordered and served in the main room.
It is also a chance to meet other trekkers from around the world or read a book.
Most teahouses have a stove in the center of the room, burning wood or kerosene.
