The Porters
The porters in Nepal can carry incredible amounts of weight, sometimes more than their own weight.
Many porters carry over 70 pounds in sandals or bare feet for a fee of $5 - $10 a day.
The porter above carried my bag one day. The traditional way to carry is with a basket and a sling around the forehead. I tried it and could not even lift it up.
