Although there are many English teachers in China, and many English speaking tourists pass through each year, the Chinese do not seem to use them when making English signs and pamphlets.
Some examples:
"The fresh air makes you feel comfortable, which makes you toxicated and forget to leave" - resort village brochure
"Over looking the city on the top floor, guests can have a panoramic view before eye site." - hotel brochure
"There are over 60 arious (sic) star's cruiser in the river now and can capacitate the tourists in all kinds. We choose 42 crusie (sic) ship from them in the list and would like to book them for you in quality. - cruise brochure
"Chinese postal employees work for all peoples with sincerity" - Posted sign
"The whole city bases on hill at the back and over-looking rivers. Bridges, squares, towers and high buildings have appeared one after another. Roads and incessant stream of cars spiral up." - city of Chongqing brochure
